Salem Farmer's Market: The Naturopathic Approach to Optimal Digestion & Your Health

  • Salem Farmer's Market 224 North Broadway Salem, NH, 03079 United States (map)

Come join Naturopathic Doctors, Jacqueline Yang and Jessica Cooper, in a discussion about digestion and your health. In Naturopathic Medicine, the digestive tract is the foundation to optimal health and essential for well-being.  Digestive conditions are becoming more prevalent with the most common being Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Irritable Bowel Disease (IBD; e.g. Crohn’s & Ulcerative Colitis), and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).  Common symptoms can be gas and bloating, heartburn, abdominal pain, diarrhea or constipation, and nausea.  Medications often just treat symptoms, especially if diet and lifestyle are not addressed.  During this talk, Drs. Yang and Cooper will discuss how your digestion can impact your health, how poor digestion can lead to other illnesses, and how you can make changes with diet and lifestyle to achieve optimal health.  This talk will be beneficial for everyone - for those who are interested in prevention, for those who have digestive conditions, and for those who think their chronic condition may be due to poor digestion.

This will be presented at the Salem Farmer's Market and is a free event.
